Data Protection
We’re super excited that you’re interested in our online shop! Your privacy is really important to us. Below, we’ll explain how we handle your data (and don’t worry, it’s not as boring as it sounds).
1. Access Data and Hosting You can browse our site without having to share personal info. When you visit a page, our web server automatically saves something called a “server log file”—this includes things like the file you requested, your IP address, date and time of access, data transferred, and your internet provider (access data). This is basically our way of making sure everything runs smoothly!
We only use this data to ensure our site works like a charm and to improve our services. This falls under the legal basis of Article 6, Paragraph 1, Sentence 1, letter f of the GDPR—basically, we’re doing this for our own (and your) best interests. All access data gets deleted within seven days after your visit.
Hosting Services by a Third Party We’ve got someone else hosting our site for us (thanks, third party!), but they only process data on our behalf. This is part of our ongoing quest to make sure you have a smooth experience on our site, and it’s totally in line with the GDPR (Article 6, Paragraph 1, Sentence 1, letter f). The hosting company is located within the European Union or the European Economic Area.
2. Data Collection and Use for Contract Fulfillment and Customer Account Creation We collect personal data when you provide it to us—whether it’s for an order, a message (like via email or a contact form), or when you create a customer account. If a field is marked as “mandatory,” it means we need that info to process your order, handle your message, or open your account. Don’t worry, though—you won’t be able to complete those actions without it.
We use the data you provide to fulfill your contract and answer your inquiries, as per Article 6, Paragraph 1, Sentence 1, letter b of the GDPR. Once your contract is complete or your account is deleted, we’ll restrict access to your data and erase it once legal retention periods are up—unless we have your consent to continue using it.
3. Data Sharing To fulfill our contract with you (Article 6, Paragraph 1, Sentence 1, letter b of the GDPR), we share your data with the shipping company that handles your delivery. Depending on the payment provider you choose during checkout, we may also share payment data with the bank or payment service provider. Some providers may even collect this info directly from you if you have an account with them.
4. Email Newsletter Email Marketing (Sign Up for Our Newsletter) If you sign up for our newsletter, we’ll use the info you provide to send it to you regularly (based on your consent, of course, Article 6, Paragraph 1, Sentence 1, letter a of the GDPR).
You can unsubscribe at any time—just let us know via the contact options below or click the unsubscribe link in the email. After unsubscribing, we’ll delete your email address unless you’ve given consent for other uses of your data (and we’ll let you know if we do).
5. Trusted Shops Trustbadge Integration To display our Trusted Shops badge and reviews, we use the Trusted Shops Trustbadge. This is a part of our marketing strategy to show off our great reputation (Article 6, Paragraph 1, Sentence 1, letter f of the GDPR).
The Trustbadge stores access data (like your IP address) in a server log file but doesn’t analyze it. If you give consent, we’ll share additional personal data with Trusted Shops after an order.
6. Cookies and Web Analysis To make your experience on our site more enjoyable and to show you relevant products, we use cookies. They help us provide a smoother, more customized experience (Article 6, Paragraph 1, Sentence 1, letter f of the GDPR). Cookies are tiny text files stored on your device. Some cookies disappear when you close your browser (session cookies), while others stay on your device to remember you next time (persistent cookies).
You can manage cookie settings via your browser, but please note that disabling cookies might affect your experience on our site.
Google Analytics We use Google Analytics to analyze how you use our website, which helps us improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect info, which is usually transferred to and stored in the US. But don’t worry, we anonymize your IP address to keep things safe!
You can prevent Google from tracking you by using a browser plugin or opting out with a link (we’ve got options for you!).
7. Advertising via Marketing Networks Google AdWords Remarketing We use Google AdWords to advertise on search results and other websites. Google sets a cookie when you visit us, which helps show you ads based on your interests.
You can opt out anytime, and we promise, we won’t stalk you with ads forever!
AdRoll Retargeting AdRoll helps us advertise on search engines and other sites. They use cookies to create interest-based ads, too. You can also opt out of this, no hard feelings.
8. Social Media Plugins We use social media plugins (like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) on our site. If you click on one, your browser connects directly to the social media server, and they’ll know you visited our site (whether or not you’re logged in). Your info gets shared with these networks and could be used for advertising purposes. Check out their privacy policies for more details!

Right to Object
If we process personal data to safeguard our legitimate interests, you have the right to object to this processing at any time with future effect. If the processing is for direct marketing purposes, you can exercise this right at any time as described above.
If the processing serves other purposes, you can object only if there are reasons arising from your particular situation.
After exercising your right to object, we will no longer process your personal data for these purposes unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or if the processing serves the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
This does not apply if the processing is for direct marketing purposes. In that case, we will stop processing your personal data for this purpose.
